Where's a good shop to do your digital printouts?

Where do you guys normally go for developing your digital shots? Preferably those that will do some value add like touching up a bit, speedy services (collection within 30 - 60 mins) and reasonable prices ($0.20 - $0.25 per piece)?

This would probably do better in the consumer's corner. But having done some printouts at one place before, I can testify to the quality of service, printing and also the speed. Prices are very reasonable as well...just mention that you are a CS member and give them your nick.

Thanks for the link. Did think of posting it in consumer section, but thought that's more like buy/sell...

TripleD at Burlington should fit the bill.

A bit more expensive but I always go to ColourLab at Adelphi for my prints.

Used to do my prints at Grace because it's near my place. But my colours always came out funny and Simon told me i had to adjust the photos on my side but i didn't buy that.

Went to KT Digital Imaging at Hong Lim upon recommendations from a friend. Not only were the prints there cheaper, they came out looking extremely close to what I had on my screen without the need for me to do anything extra to the colours on my photos.

That's a good choice too... depends on lab and you who had adjusted the photos. :)

how is the quality like???

Good. Especially I have calibrated my screen to their's printer.
Rendering is close as I don't ask them to enhance for me.

They do pretty good enhancements anyway, but I just like WYSIWYG.

I do go to colourlabs for slides developing though.

Hi Denosha,

When i forward your thread to Fuji engineer. They explain that if i use auto-color correction mode, color might change a bit but the picture will be more contrast. You will get original color if the mode is off but a little soft if direct from camera.

I might have use the mode and that is why the problem arise.

I want to thank you for bringing this out or else we wouldn't improve our service.

Best Regards

simon

GOD BLESS

Thanks guys for informing us on the places to go to.

Think i'm just unlucky. Try not to go a corner shop at Midlink plaza. V obvious from the entrance.... But u can go there for Cheap 8r prints. $1.50 only...(for more prints) Unbelievable. Other shops do round $3.

The quality is not there...colour is abit off... :thumbsd: If u wan cheap  but not superb quality..can go there lor...

Depends on the paper they use also.

Cool, thank you all for sharing!

Hi C'sers

Forget to mention one important point and that is the "PRINTING QUALITY GUARATEE" policy.

You can get Free re-print for photos which you are not completely satisfied for whatever reasons.

Cheers!

GRACE DIGITAL LAB

Haha, Grace is advertising directly now. :)

No Worries, Grace is quite good too.
Only that it is a bit too far for me. :)
