Ya, i second cinegear! No worries, they have plenty of HD cameras.Dan is also very knowledgeble so he can give you advice if u need it.
To simplify the story, HD editing needs a faster PC and still takes longer to edit compared with SD editing, and in the end you are probably going to burn the video onto an SD DVD anyway.
Since SD cams have better low light sensitivity (in general), I would recommend that you stick to SD for this wedding. (For your next wedding you can upgrade to HD ha ha).
The best is if you can get hold of a Sony VX2000, VX2100, PD150 or PD170. They are really good in low light.
if i'm not wrong the HDV format allows for more detail in low lighting conditions, and when coupled with a strong lighting I don't see why it matters as much either waysome HDV cameras allow you to record in HDV and export in DV too, and it appears crisper than other SD cameras as well.
