Wow, this is a bummer. I actually expected the battery to last a little longer instead as it should require less power to illuminate the smaller LCD on the EVF. Do you have a rough estimation of how much shorter the battery would last if using the EVF vs the LCD? Thanks.

u can tune the brightness of evf if u are running out of juice. typically 200-250 shots.
