Where can i buy Schneider Loupes in Spore. Pls recommend.

The distributor for Sigma lenses (can't recall who now) also are the distributors for Schneider.

Fotoguide has the loupes on display. Other Sigma retailers may be able to get them if you place an order, but Fotoguide is one of the few places where you can actually view them.

I use the Schneider 6x loupe and it is highly recommended.

I'm getting the 10x soon, it's about S$390 from Photoguide.

Rodenstock 6x is full frame viewing (I heard from my friend), but is Schneider 6x full frame too?

I always wonder, for checking sharpness, is microscope a better option? Using like 10x, 20x, 40x...etc. magnification.

Schneider 6x is full frame; I believe their 10x is too (can't confirm right now, have to dig up the brochure).

10x, 20x, 40x microscope ... :what: ... at that kind of magnification, you won't be checking sharpness, you would be looking at film grain already. ;p

Yes, Schneider 6x Aspheric covers the full frame (35mm format).

I am satisfied with Schneider 10x for checking sharpness. Microscope would be inconvenient to use.
