Bad news.. i called up both MS Color & APSL, no stock =(
I was hoping to get it this weekend in time for my trip to Greece on Sunday.. so i guess I have to settle for something else then. I wonder if its available in the airport mall though.... shld check in earlier to shop?
Also, I am keen to get the Wide Converter, any idea if the cost quoted (lens adapter is S$45, wide Converter is S$200+ ) is reasonable for Singapore price coz online, its more like US$150 for everything.

Why don't you try shops like Best Denki? You may be able to get a decent deal from them, and have an option to purchase extended warranty if you want.

1) 3rd Party Mini Tripod
2) 3rd Party Battery
3) Screen Protector.
(quoted $710, but use wi-fi phone to show them this thread, hahaha)
No 3rd party/other lumix models' casing to match AP though. But no concern to me though.
According to the sales lady, the new batch of stock have arrived for their side.
My friend and i got 1 each.

Alamak! I was so busy at work today and I dint read the thread to find out abt the CP deal.
Got it at Harvey Norman at Funan for S$679 (original cost is S$699 but I got sold the HN S$50 scratch n win rebate to my colleague for S$20 so considered discount lah!) with only one 8gb card and nothing else...
Nonetheless, happy to get my hands on it in time for my trip to Greece on Sunday, so at least that's one thing settled. Now to get my hands on the filters and a decent pouch!
Its quite hard to find a place with all the accessories in one location.. MS only has lens adaptor and MC filter... Harvey Norman has 3rd Party Wide Angle but no adaptor... AP Funan has nothing.. (was really cheesed off by the service there today but that's a story for another day).. so if anyone has personal stock or knows of a place with everything (lumix or 3rd party) and decent price, do let me know ok?

What type of filter suit LX3?
The original thread size will be 46mm on the camera. Most ppl will get an adaptor which is from 46mm to 52mm cos 52mm thread are quite common in the market. If you are using this size, den you will be able to get most of the filter brands that have 52mm thread.
So you might want to consider a 52mm thread UV or CPL filter...

Hmm, but i guess the 46 to 52mm converters will be 3rd-party stocks right? So any issue with image quality like vignetteing and other cheem stuff that i keep reading about?
I am looking for a wide lens plus a cpl and uv filters for sure.. as for nd, dunno if i really need it leh.

hey thanks. life saver. i have been reading too many threads to remember which thread it belongs to. now that the promo from the camera shops doesn't include casing, i was thinking of getting the brown leather case
i gave up on the lx3 black case. this one looks easier to handle except for the price
