Hi guys, does anyone know where I can get a 12600SE (CR-2NP) battery for the Galileo Sol?

It's a 3V lithium battery. Tried searching online but can't find any Singapore shops that carry this.

Have already ordered the CR2450 for the wireless transmitter, just need this one for the dive comp!

Thanks in advance

I've tried Deal Extreme for you.... but even they don't have this type of batteries.... and they sell almost all known, commonly used type out there.....

Perhars the '126000SE' or 'CR-2NP' isn't really the batteriy model ??

Could try ordering it online, but shipping might be an issue.

here's a place that's selling it, but they don't do direct international orders, so you'd need to use vpost or something. You'd also have to check with vpost or whoever on if they will ship a battery...

Good luck!

thanks, i found a few online shops but they are all overseas. with shipping and all, i might be better off selling hte dive comp and buying a new one! and you're right that shipping lithium batteries might be a problem

was hoping to find some local shop that carries it. anyone knows a "battery specialist" type of shop?

haha yes i've tried DX too..thats where i ordered the CR2450 from.

i guess the 12600 isn't a very commonly used battery after all. you can see some of the DX batteries are named the same way 18750 or soemthing like that

Thanks for digging that up for me. They're my last port of call because the prices will be quite inflated.

The dive computer is great for photography. All the important dive info at a glance - including air pressure. I can also get another transmitter for my buddy or a pony bottle and it will show up on the display as well.

However my strap has broken in 3 places which I think is a batch issue, so am waiting to get a replacement. Been waiting since April, and still waiting.

The HRM works nicely underwater, no issues. But it does tend to spike sometimes inexplicably. Perhaps it's interference from my strobes. Otherwise it's a good approximation of workload and makes for a more conservative yet accurate dive profile.

No regrets despite the large price-tag!

And the HRM is always a great way to start a conversation with a hot chick.. and they'll be the ones to initiate conversation! "What's that around your chest?"
Then you whip out your DSLR rig and they go "OOOH ITS SO BIG!"

shiok.

Well, with life saving equipement, sometimes it's better to bite the bullet and get it done, even if it's a bit pricier. :) I'm sure they should do a pressure test when they change out the battery...

yup, i get what you mean..but the battery is meant to be user-replaceable and I just want spare batteries to take with me in case it dies on a trip. like you said, it's (almost!) life-support equipment!

would really suck to not be able to use that divecomp now..been quite spoiled by it. hehe. feel so inadequate with a suunto mosquito now
