Everyone has different needs lor. For me, I realised I never used the continuous mode (3fps) ability in my old DSLR and I found some of my travel pictures with burnt out skies. As I join tour groups and sometimes it is not possible to go around and get a better angle. I hope the s3pro can solve my problem with its massive raw file.
If you use the RAW file from s3pro, it is REALLY hard to get blown highlights if you develop using ACR. But you have to do PP to balance the contrast.
If you just want to print out of the cam without any PP any DLSR will do... Colors is a matter of taste, My wife really liked the olympus E1 colors.
the new canon 400D's features looks real good. Compared to the s3pro, it is lighter, better AF module (I think as it shares the same AF module as 30D), less noise, 10MP, 3fps, bigger LCD, and DUST BUSTER. Fujifilm charges $89 to clean sensor....
