Where is an actual thread of pictures TAKEN with the 5DIII ?

Sidetrack abit. I saw a fellow 5d3 user with a 50mm L at tsukiji market today carrying a billingham bag. Was wondering if he is Singaporean.. Haha... By any chance he's here in this forum?

Lovely shots. Quick question: which AF point selection did you use: all AF points or only cross points or right edge group or right edge point with surrounding assist?

Thanx!

I'm a center focus, refocus shooter so for me, I always set it to center spot. I've been using the center + 4 spots as I find the small focusing box can be hard to see in some situations. So I use the additional 4 spots to help me find the center spot quickly.

Just in case I will ever move the focusing spot manually, I set my camera to only use cross type points as a default.

Did you use flash for the above pic???

I don't think he did..looking at the ISO and Aperture..you don't need flash..in fact with the 5D3..i dun think you will need the flash for light anymore unless you want the effect…flashless is more natural.

Some more photos posted showing what the 5d3 is capable of would be appreciated.

People must be getting the hang of using it by now.

Ask and ye shall receive.
