anyone has one or use it before, how fast is the recharge rate? Campare to Quantum?

Was looking for one for sometime, but can't find one.

I don't want to spend a lot of money for quantum, its heavy too.

Anyway, I never have problem with recycling time during wedding shoot... and if I take real estate photography, where full flash often is the way to go, I can afford to wait 5 to 9 sec for the flash to recharge.

Haven't seen one in any store yet and don't think you can order until Sony completes takeover. Alternative that is available is the Quantum but it is priced above $550. I was offerred one but am holding back, just as I did for lenses, to see what developes from the Sony takeover.

i believe there's some circuitry to boost up the recharging rate. this had been discussed before, a search should yield some results.

indeed there is a circuit booster.. sorry, not a mechanical or electrician, hence don't know the correct name..

interesting enough that it actually make the flash recycle 50% faster.... US$180+shipping is a bit steep for me..

Anyone got one laying around and want to get rid off?

Get the quantam better can be used on other systems too
