When you getting 5D mk3?

Ya, maybe is the "deadly BBB" virus..haha..I mean they dump their 5D2 around $2K but the 5D3 is like $5.5K ( your post for Jap RRP, and street price still like $5K+), IMHO if 5D3 is selling $4K ( like the 5D2 launch or D800 price) then is reasonable to dump your 5D2. The gap is just too big.
Anyway, when the virus attack, we will just go for it :sweat:

well, not for me, I think my 5D2 works great for me now. maybe 1DX if I have the $$$ ;p

With the current price of 5dmk3, I don't see myself buying it ._. hahaha

Yah, noticed many 5D2 owners going into self consoling mode. Like it or not, M3 is miles apart from M2.

And so is the price...Hehe if features are "miles apart", the price is "light years apart"

Depending....for me i find it more expensive to upgrade to the 5d3...

actually guys how many of you find that nikon has better lenses at the moment right now?... especially their 1.4 primes series....

I would say on par but canon has slight edge on 50L and 85L.

I buy my lenses overseas so don't lose that much, so far only sticking a few primes 35, 50, 85 & 100. In any case i prob keeping my ef lenses. Prob buy used or overseas nikon lenses.

Just me, not for flame war. Canon has specialty lenses I like that Nikon doesn't have, eg MP-E65, TS-E17 and EF85L.

Anyway some Canon lenses are better and some Nikon lenses are better. If you want the best of both worlds, use both brands.

there's always pros and cons in everything . thats life. nothing/no one is perfect. its how u r going to make good use of it. just priorities the pros and cons and u will know which one to go for. else, like what An Drew said, get both brands. if not, u will never get started (u can compare for days, months ,years...and u will never get the time wasted back).
