All quiet on the Western Front (BnW flick)
The Eagle has landed (both the book and DVD)

still trying to find Das Boot in DVD....

Battle of Midway ? u can buy it at AMK central laser fair... beside Eu Yan San.

I saw the movie many times.. i hate the part where they show a US modern aircraft carrier with phantom F4s on it and they called it as USS Yorktown.

Eh, you forgot:

"What do I get for twenty dollars?"

"Anything you want."

"Anything?"

"Anything!"

another one.

best war quote:" first to go, last to know" hung on the wall at the base camp. ;p

Das Boot I saw at the library @ esplanade a long long time ago. But I can't find it now.

If you guys are into old films (as a whole), $21 for library premium membership allows you to borrow 4 dvd from library@esplanade for 1 week each time, can return at any other library. Very worth , I notice a lot of people in Singapore don't know, or can't be bothered to check it out. What a waste, when it's not bad, at such a price.

got old war film meh?:dunno: my one at jurong point area only have boring educational children DVD and crappy games CD rom!

unfair! :embrass:

Band of Brothers - my all time favourite.. i think i watched it twice..

rambo as war flicks? :faint:

the one man army who took out an entire russian army camp with a machine gun dat dun seem to run out of bullets?? btw, this has been spoofed by charlie sheen in hot shots, IIRC... :bsmilie:

I guess of all show the only show left me the deep impression is "Full Metal Jacket" when the whore talk to the soldier. :bsmilie: "Me so Ho***, Me love you alot" (Ok, I just watched that so I still rem the dialogue)

That's like not related to any real war thou. Heee

'What do u get for $10?'

'Everything u want!'

'Everything?'

'Everything!'

I got the song, 'Me so horny' by 2 Live Crew. :sweatsm:

Conspiracy, directed by Frank Pierson (2001)

An understated yet chilling historical recreation of the 1942 Wannsee Conference.

watching this and knowing that it's based on a true event made me sick to the stomach. but it also goes to show how deadly clinical the Nazi regime was when dealing with the "Final Solution".

Who can remember Memphis Belle?
