Alright, so I was minding my own business, doing my works on my laptop. Suddenly, I heard some tiny buzzing sound, and when I raised my head, something dark flew/jumped down on me. I was so shocked that I swapped it away hurriedly, jumped across the room, and hit my leg on the chair.
The 'thing' dropped near my cupboard, not moving. I thought it was dead by my hand swapped, but apparently not, so I whipped out my 'Baygon' and sprayed it. It took a good 20 seconds continuous spraying before it lays motionless. What a tough bug.
Seriously, I never encountered this kind of roaches in Singapore before. It just looks more... creepy. I took two images after I killed it, one with flash, and one without. (Click on image to see the roaches in more detail.)

On a side note, this few months I have quite a lot of insects invading my room. Long-legged mosquitoes, moths, several bees, some hard-shelled bugs, and just today, this roaches. Coincidentally, I just installed the ultrasonic bug-repellent a few months ago. Is it possible that the bug-repellent thing is inviting those pesky bugs rather than repelling them? Anybody else having this insects outbreak in their home?
