I used to have the 20 1/7, now upgraded to the 25 1.4 and I love every bit of it.

My new favourite lens is the 35-100/2.8. (previously was the 25/1.4)
This lens is SUPER sharp, super versatile! Simply unbelievable!

Favourite and most used are two different things!

Favourite is Samyang 7.5mm fisheye.

Most used is either 12-60, 14-42, 40-150, or 14-150...depends on what mood I'm in.

Agreed haha. my favorite is Oly 75/1.8. And it changes with mood ;p

Wonder if the black 75/1.8 will be same price?.. Or will the silver drop in price after the black is launched?

Pls Noooooo!!!! :bsmilie:

I think the silver 75/1.8 with hood / metal cap is way more awesome then black...yes, me biased :bsmilie:

I like the Oly 75mm and Voigtlander 25m :)

I only have two micro Four-Thirds lenses and neither one is my favourite: 45-200mm f/4.0-5.6 and 35-100mm f/2.8, both Panasonic.

I'm finally more comfortable with them, but it's so easy to get the Olympus MMF-3 adapter and pull out one of my ZD lenses where I see the results I want every time. However, Saturday, I used the Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8 exclusively, half the time using manual focus, and it worked satisfactorily. Since the GH3 only goes to 1/4000 of a second shutter speed, stopping down for maximum sharpness isn't a problem.

My most used lens is the 25mm f1.4 while my favorite lens is the Oly 75mm f1.8 because it is very easy to get bokeh and you can stay at a distance wherein the subject does not feel that his/her privacy is getting invaded.

My fav is M.Zukio 17mm f1.8

Despite the poor review, I find that the 17 2.8mm is one I use most of the time...find it hard to justify spending extra cash to get the 17mm 1.8 which reviews said is so much better...

Previous favourite was P20/1.7, but after trying, considering and eventually buying the O17/1.8, there's simply no contest as to which lens is my preferred one. Can shoot almost anything and everything with this 35mm-equivalent lens!

I wonder which is the best lens for baby portraits? 17, 20 or 25?

Whichever lens can get the closest since they're not telephoto lenses, and whichever lens focuses more quickly, so you can capture each change as they become older.

So which among the 3? I thk the 14 although focuses fast may produce a little distortion. Not sure if 17 or 20 or 25 wld be better. But the 20 suffers from slow AF.

I'd think the 25mm but I'm not sure about the closest focusing distance. The 17 would be fine if it gets close enough to concentrate on the baby and not all of the surroundings, making the baby less important. You know what I mean? Back in the film days, a 35mm or 40mm lens was common on 135 format compact cameras, but they were usually meant for getting group shots.

For baby is definitely 25mm no contest. 20 is slow, some may argue the other way but for baby it is definitely not good enough. 17 may be too wide for a good shot. Especially when you get too close, the baby tend to grab your camera. 25 is just nice enough to keep the distance from the baby and not to far to interact with them. And I like 25mm most for the AFF feature on Panny body. If you set the camera to Snap when in Focus only. It is quite hard to get a blur shot.

My favorite are Oly 75mm f/1.8, VN 17.5mm f/0.95 & PL 8mm f/3.5 FE.. looking forward to try the PL 25mm soon!
