Note: T005 is Alu weight 0.8kg n payload is 4kg (I think) while T025 is CF 0.6kg n payload is 6kg (confirm)

Bro, can let me knw the price for both and where to get them? Thks

Actually a common mistake one makes is buying a tripod for his current setup. My suggestion is buy a tripod that is future-proof.

This means, will your tripod be sturdy enough should one day you upgrade to a D700/Grip/70200 combination?

What if you never feel the need to use a large telephoto with a FF camera? :)

Why stop there, there is also medium format and large format. :bsmilie:

When you have 'multiple' body/lenses for 'multiple' occasions, why settle with 'single' tripod? ;)

BBB!

Bro derekliu,

Of cause the N1205 as it has more section. As for if you need to use the last leg, that depend on how tall you are. For me I did not use the last leg as I stands at 156cm just need to extend the center column. The tripod does come with the center hook to let you hook your bag.

for those who are still thinking of whether to get tripod

i hoot a R1004 yesterday most basic tripod i guess, but i doesnt feel heavy at all, yet when i put on my dslr onto the tripod, its very sturdy i feel

damage is 129 cos i got a g10 ballhead, cos from what i know g10 max load is 18kg, g20 max load is 20kg, my set up aint very heavy, using it onli for normal landscape shoots,

will give more reviews when i bring out for a field test tml

meanwhile im very happy i got the tripod:thumbsup:

Any updates on sirui tripods? As in after using it for awhile. Does it really deliver as well as what they claim to? For example, is it sturdy when heavy set-ups are mounted on time and again? My set up is pretty basic. But I intend to get a 2204 sirui. Take it as a form of early investment. The specs seems enticing enough. But its a china brand (I know I'm not suppose to stereotype). Please give me some heads-up before I venture in. thanks in advance! TGIF!!!

Sirui has been tried and tested by many here and it's reliable. Which 2204 are you looking at?

Hmmmm. I don have a specific model yet. The reason why I chose 2204 is because of the feel of it and I prefer 4sections than 5. Maybe the cheapest carbon fibre model?

2204s are all carbon fibre regardless of the models I think. The cheapest should be R-2204, the most basic one

I've gotten prices from tk photo. I think it's reasonably cheap for a tripod given the stated specs. I went down last Friday to Sunday. In the end went back with nothing. Another brand that is reasonably priced with good specs is jusino. Having a hard time deciding.

PM me the prices especially for the N1204, N1205, N2204 and N2205 models. Thanks.

I think it would be nice if you ask for the prices nicely instead of demanding it. It doesn't take much time for you to type the word "please".

Thought he was replying to my query earlier and I'm juz asking. Maybe type too fast to put in the pleasantries. Like dat you also happy to post? Chill a bit lah. If iamveryclever thinks I'm rude and demanding, he can just ignore me. BTW, iamveryclever if you could please PM the prices if you do have them. Thank you and much appreciated.

Thank you, iamveryclever. The info gives me an idea how much are Sirui prices here. Probably, I will buy locally rather than import from overseas. Even with free shipping, it should be cheaper here. Now, gotta find time to visit the shop.

Pricing of Sirui products in China and in Singapore are almost the same. So might as well buy in Singapore and enjoy the 6 years warranty.
