Both looks good but the B&W copy seems abit on the darker side... Slightly prefer the color copy... classic rendition rather than the modern type given by ASPH Leica lenses...

i would vote for the B&W version... classic look.

still using the epson r-d1 with the SUmmar 50/f2.

i bought 2 x 34mm uv filters quite cheaply, punched out the glass and now using it as a small hood for the summar.

this ensures that i don't have a huge hood blocking the RF on my IIIf (where it rightfully belongs)
and i get some protection from the bouncing light.

Shooting with a m2 and 35/f2 with tri-x.
Don't intend to push to 800 or 1600, but
i think one or two frames are a bit too
underexposed.

The Dubai sun is scorching, past 10am and
the temperature is like 38C.... hot!

today i will go visit a sick relative,
and i will shoot with the Contax AX SLR with a 85/f1.4 lens,
all this chatter over RF and MF has caused me to ignore
my only 35mm SLR (not forgetting my Pen-FT SLR half-frame).
Probably shoot with Fuji Acros 100.

I didn't quite do anything special to the lens. All I did was to follow step by step from the PDF I got off the internet. After my so-called repair, i felt the lens is sharper than before. Maybe its just me.
