Hello raytoei,
Yes, I'm hoping to use the entire finder and hope it estimates to be a 40mm focal length. No parallex error compensation, but I'm guessing at medium to far focus distance, it should be a good rough estimation. The M3 doesn't allow me to focus under 1m anyway.
I'll try to report back with experiences.

hoot. My contax ax arrived yesterday with planar 50/f1.4. trying it out today.
this camera is one of its kind: a AF system that is based on manual focused lens. instead of the lens moving, the body moves the focal plane to give a AF system.... this means all the old MF zeiss lens based on c/y mount is now AF on this body...

Wanted to use the M9-P and SX35FLE today but never got to it. Maybe tomorrow...
my Olympus 35DC arrived today from seller. came with a px625 battery already included.
set the ISO to max of 800 and I am all set for my 4 day business trip.
this camera is a point and shoot in that the aperture and shutter speed is automatically selected,
i still get the pleasure of RF focusing but no DOF markings.
will be shooting with Neopan 400 pushed to 800.

first half in the office,
shooting with a IIIf
with Collapsible 50/f2
Self-rolled XP-2...
2nd half with the Contax above,
and with a borrowed Contax 645
Film will be T-Max 400 for 120
and Tri-X / Neopan 400 for 35mm.
Model is very shy about confirming the shoot.
Goes with the territory i guess.

today, i am shooting with a really challenging combination:
- Leica m6ttl with 35 Nortkon 1.4
- Poly Pan F 50 iso
* i really can't get the hang of 35mm FOV so I want to challenging myself
shooting something so wide, ie. I have to get closer.
* i bought 152m of this surveillance film, translate to roughly 500ft of 35mm perforated film.
Which is approximately 100 rolls of 36 exposure film or 130+ 24 exposure rolls which I am used to.
At 50 ISO ..... hahhahaha.... yesterday I shot 3 rolls at 50 iso and told fotohub to develop one roll at ilford pan f time,
one roll at pan f + 1/2 stop push and one roll at 1 stop push. Let's see how they pictures come out before I develop this roll.
even at one roll a day, i will never finish my film stash in a year...
