We are one, my Yamaha R1.

Sigh, with our high import tax and increasing COE, it make little sense to splurge on an expensive car:( I admit I drool over nice wheels but I constantly remind myself not to put my hard earned money on something that is certain to depreciate. Of course if one is well heeled, he/she can easily go for newer models even though that means more money put to waste with every change of wheels. Too bad I can't do that, so mine is a 5 yr old Nissan which I am determined to 'torture' it until its 10 years is up...and perhaps beyond :)

SK1968, Let's do this, shall we?:
We don't spend too much money on cars cos they depreciate like nobody's business.
We save up and spend much lesser amount on photo equipment... more fun, right? Hahaha...

I will still extend my COE when my car' 10 year is up.

Haha, doesn't sound like you wor... Who walked like a camera-xmas-tree during the Sapa trip, with how many 1Dx ??? Who quick-hand-quick-leg grabbed the zigview ? ahem....:bsmilie::bsmilie: But i certainly think keeping a car for as long as it is feasible and safe is the way to go :)

Subaru Impreza hatchback. Transport purpose.

I like my Avante.... economical, powerful, strong and cheaper than many other models.

I only have eyes for Audi RS4 & RS6, both sedan & wagon. Audi R8 V10 5.2i. BMW M3, M5, M6, X6M, 760iL. They are all not mid range. :sweatsm:

 I like these cars too and Porsche Cayenne. :)

They have MB S Class taxis. If you are talking abt London, yes, on the street a lot of expensive cars. AMG MB, RUF Porsche, Rolls Royce etc. The ppl in London are rich.

And Brighton...........

The list of females that he has given a ride or has ridden, will definitely be longer than that of the cars. :bsmilie:

Sorry, quote this post which was posted long time ago.

My sis got a M3 then. It is a mid-range car. In the States lah.... 50k only, really. Yes, same price as your S$76k COE open cat now. The Chevrolet ZR1 is a supercar that is value for money and popular over there (638 horses stock, goodies like CF leading to a pretty lightweight chassis, carbon ceramic brakes, only 110k). Eg R35 Nurburing 7m 29s, ZR1 7m 26s, stock incld tyres.

Not now but a Honda Integra Type R next year once I get my license.

"Australian heap o' crap (GM, Ford, Mitusbishi locally made etc)"

Haha I love this, yeah the Australian cars isn't much to write home about, spacious though if you have cattles as passengers. You wouldn't believe the bias journalism in Australian motoring magazines where they would always put a Commodore or a Falcon at the top with M3s or AMGs. The British are even worst, they compared a Ford focus with the almighty GTR.
