There's no quick answer to this as it's down to personal perception and usage habits, the 9mm is noticeably wider than the 12mm but there are also users who stitch images instead.

The best will be to try to borrow / rent the 9mm or drop by Olympus SG to test the lens for yourself.

I tried the panasonic 17mm f1.7 mk2, but the focus is inaccurate and too slow..
anyone has any recommendation? preferably olympus's own lens, as the focusing is insanely fast...

Panasonic is 20mm f1.7

Suggest the olympus 17mm f1.8, lots of second hand in ur buget range

As for the lens I use the most, it'll be the 25mm 1.4 just because it's the oldest lens among them all, and also the most "normal" lens I have, the rest are for special occasions

Didn't you have the 15/1.7 before? Or sold it off already to fund the 42.5 haha. If so, gee you move quick!!

yeah man sold already lol, what i have in my sig is what i have left.. really feel a slight void in my "light lens/compact lens space", my lightest lens now is 25 1.4 which is not that light, my only lens capable to do selfie is 14-140 which is not quite light and feels awkward to hold backwards. only solution is the 12-32 but whoa.. another $300++ on another lens.. really wallet gonna burn feeding this addiction of mine lol

maybe i'll get it only after the 75-300 is sold lol (although I am secretly hoping no one would wanna buy it because i kinda like the lens too and do use it occasional for plane spotting lol)

i have the kit 14-42mm but i don't bring it around. I have a extender to take macro shots.

It's weird for me cos i have nothing in between 12 and 45mm, but in a way i don't miss it as much as i do ...
