What is your favourite DOMKE bag?

I have F2 for my MF, F6 for my SLR and F8 for my RF. Really love this brand

F3x for me. 5xb when I bring out the GRD 4 and other stuff

All coming out now to declare love for Domke! Hahaha ...

Given that I don't have any more really bulky setups, mostly mirrorless equipment (RD1s, R4A, Ricoh GXR and GRD). My fav is still the F803. Going through so many bags earlier, I still find myself going back to this. Can't really put a finger to it, but it just fits what I want to bring along for a shoot (not all the gear at once though).

The waxwear version is probably the best to look at. My only quip is that when it's used, it's way too soft and thin when compared to the usual canvas version. Waxing the bag again, doesn't really help a great deal. Domke's not very well padded already, and so if the waxwear canvas is thin, it doesn't help. They should at the very least put in a thicker foam for the base. Those of you still using the F803 waxwear, what do you do to fortify the walls of this bag to safeguard your gear?

@Tommyx and @Oceanpriest, care to share images of your bag (with your gear in it)?

No love for this brand these days? It's all gone really quiet. Hardly any domke's WTB or WTS threads in BNS for months! All move to Billingham?

Maybe domke are for keeps! :) I've had mine for 12 years!

F3x black.

Straps beginning to fray though. :(

hi hinata, me thinking of getting a FX5B too. :)

just started shooting with a leica minilux this evening with iso 400 film, but realise cant shoot in as many lighting conditon as i would like.

therefore still need to bring along a ricoh grd4 along next time. guess a FX5B would be nice for the 2 compact and couple other stuff. hmm..maybe another film compact for 100 iso film.. :)

but dunno where got sell and how much?

You've got to show us the pictures... Maybe we should start showing our "old" domke's and how weathered it has become. ;-)

Btw, I think the older F-3X are a little smaller than the ones we have today.

Thanks for the video. Looks great, esp. the darker denim.

I saw leica! I am surprise that the F8 can house that many cams.

the lens is collapsible. the samsung need to take off the pancake lens and put on side pocket :bsmilie:

Mine used to be the F3X ballistic. until it started fraying.

Anyone else experience?? not at the strap at the hook there. :(

I like the f2. However when I was at Cathay, I decided really long between the F2 and f3x. Great bags. Quality definitely not as good as Billingham IMO but a lot cheaper too.

Yes, it is a limited edition

f3x olive, inconspicuous, comfortable, spaceous and not heavy. :)
