What is your favourite DOMKE bag?

Hi, Looking into purchasing 2 Domke bags (Black Ballistic). One big (for 2 bodiew with on body having a zoom lens) and a smaller one (one body). Looking to buy from B&H or Adorama. Can anyone comment:

1) Which online store is better?
2) Any models to recommend?

Just bought the USPO shoulder pad. Really made the whole bag much more comfortable to carry. But the thing is that it adds a bit more to the overall weight as the shoulder pad itself is of some weight due to the good materials used.

the shoulder pad is crappy because it will dry up and start cracking and flaking very soon from the weather here. :angry:

if u kiasu then get the nylon. otherwise the canvas material is more manly. makes u feel like a real man!

I was hooked on the Domke after i bought my J3 a few months back.
Went and ordered a F2 Chocolate, and its really nice to work with.

But i realised something -
Why cant we remove the main strap and wash it? How can i change a strap if its
too dirty/torn etc?

Anybody have a review of the F6 as i am contemplating one

i am using the F6 for over a year. i ordered mine from bh photo because cathay doesnt sell the F6. if u dun mind waiting, i can take some shots of it with gear in it to let u have an idea tonight.

depends on how u want to lay out the thing. my latest configuration of the bag i can put a body with 50mm on it and the 4 compartment insert can squeeze in small lenses easily. but nothing longer than the 50mm if you want to use the insert.

Not surpise. My F2 is 10+ years and still loving it. Juz ordered a F-5XC from B&H (CP does not keep this model).

BTW, B&H has lower shipping cost than Adorama. That is, shipping just this F-5XC.

I had the back-strap but for a very brief period only. While it lightens the load, it is not made to be a backpack strap. Sold it very shortly and modify my Lowepro backpack strap which do a better job. I would not recommend it.
