work out your "overhead" (expenses need to pay out even you are not working) + "material cost" (expenses need to get the job done) + "labour/wages" (your salary) + "profit" (pure profit, the incentive to keep you working) divide by chargeable hours (the hour you can charge money, eg, you need to work one week 40 hours on a wedding but you only can charge 10 hours).

and tell them accordingly, if rejected, stay with our current job.
