The live HDMI output on Canon DSLRs are 480i only.
I am wondering if convergent design Nano flash will work with Canon 550D,7D or the new 60D HDMI output or not?
Anyone has any ideas? If it is able to work it will be some really good news.
I think if its only 480I output on HDMI, Its not a good news. Was hoping it could output Full HD via HDMI.
only canon DSLR now that outputs 1080i would be the 7D.
All other single digic processor DSLRs output at 640 and downres to 480 when recording.
We tried the 7D with a cinedeck to record 4:2:2 cineform, using the 7D only as a capture device and not recording to the CF card, we were able to clear all the overlays and info on the screen, however only way to get rid of the focusing box would be to use Canon EF lenses, was not possible with a compact prime.
=S
anyone have problems mixing footage from dslr and other cams.
i can't seem to get the Sony NX cam to look like dslr, even when shallow DOF is not in play. the color just can't match even when we shoot color charts.
both raw footage converted to pro res
if anyone has a solution please share
yup
you can see what i mean in this vid (still working on it, posted online to meet an editorial dateline)

yes the interviews, both white balance set to daylight.
not talking about DOF
and yes i used MB colorista 2 but honestly for colour matching final cut pro 3 way corrector is much more accurate.
