With respect to my topic, this maybe an example : MO: 'da LCD Protectors

The person went missing after cut off date and most of the people have join already paid.

Can any admins handle this issue???
thanks alot. :)

*I know that clubsnap is not liable, base on the guidelines over here. Just want to know what can admin do?

This is the last post...
And we believe it had passed 2 weeks after the MO cut off date.

2weeks.. not veri nice to do MO like this lo.

Nobody has his contact number?

dang... i have no idea. Hmm.. maybe guys who do MO's should provide their contact details? i dunno :S

I think its not gd for him to MIA for so long without informing us..:thumbsd: Even if he's really under confinement in camp, could at least ask someone to post here to inform us.. If he really MIA, only the admins can contact him?

need to post Paging for meng ??? :bsmilie:

I am sorry to advise that meng did not provide his contact number or real name to us prior to him starting the MO.

It is for this very same reason that the MO/MS section is now a moderated section which requires the threadstarter to state their full details up front so that members know who they are dealing with.

I am not sure what we can do at this juncture to assist members who have transferred money to meng, other than to wait and see if meng re-surfaces.

There are many things that could have transpired and meng may not be able to respond through no fault of his (giving him the benefit of doubt for now).

Then again it is a small deal.
Some are assuming the worst but perhaps there is a good reason why the person is temporarily not contactable.

If (that's a big IF until proven) it is a con, then how much does the MO organiser stand to make?
Millions$? Not possible. At most a few hundred $. Petty crime.

Certainly not worth the bad repute.
And risking that somewhere out there is an irate psycho who got ripped off in the MO and then makes it his life's mission to fix the MO organiser by going to the police, the press, the MO's employer, the MO's family, even during Chinese New Year, etc.... until there is no peace. The MO organiser can lose his career over this kind of small greed. So is it worth it?

But then again, why does one bother with MO in the first place, if the difference is say, $5 or $10.

The risk of paying up front to someone you do not know well and the waiting... the waiting... the waiting.....you know what I mean.
Is a MO worth the hassle ?

Maybe only for something you cannot get easily and directly from the shops in Singapore.

Moderators : Maybe can ask for a Photo of future MO organisers as well. And I/c and Address and Place of Occupation. If possible, meet the person and run a check before you allow the MO to operate.

Thanks darren, well i think that will be a lesson to everyone of us here, not to anyhow join MO other then the "regulars" or well known cser.

 now is who else can organise a MO on da' LCD Protectors, as some of us here may need it asap.

For that, the MOs will be posted 2weeks later as everyone of us has commitments... kinda of late post for MO and everything will be delayed. :(

Make a sticky thread: Authorised MO user, means user who has submitted their detail to MO admin.

Like that, people wont order from non-authorised user, and also for the MO user to register their detail to admin.

Seldom buy thing from MO, not sure if this has been done. :)

As Darren has pointed out, all future threads would already be subject to moderation requirements...
