What happened to the old Minolta users?

there was another one outing much earlier at funan mac where vivientan just bought her Dynax 7. still got ratboy with RD series. pretty impressive.

ya, and sulhan was pushing his duaghter around too. haahaa. But the panning with A1 was incredible.

I hasn't been to getherings becoz Thursday has became my office sports day... so every thursday pa badminton.

plus the 2 5Ds I'll be buying that will be a total of five DSLRs. I just cannot accept the inconsistent exposure of the 7D + flash.... KNN..... Sent all three 7Ds with the 3 5600HS back to KM service centre twice, and it's still not 100% ok

I think it should be fixed with a firmware update somewhere end of this year... but dun quote me on that... actually after my calibration, the flash exposes ok if u stay within limits... and bounce flash usually works more reliably and consistently than direct flash... u need to learn the system...

AQnd also theother way round. use different bodies with one flash and check for consistencies.

Great idea... next outing lor... but must separate into 2 groups, one set using recalibrated body, the other without recalibration.

very expensive so think over, go shopping elsewhere first

just have to wait for the new upcoming 7D firmware, praying it will solve the problem. the 5D has no such issue did it?

great as most BKK travellers will say.
just nice for short trip

I am reading all these issues regarding flashes and I'm puzzled.

Is the consistency issues you guys referring to as consistency when shooting the same setup/situation?

Or is it rather a reliability issues where the flash gives different exposures when the situations change?
