what does 'upz' stands for?

What does the 'word' 'upz' stands for? I know it is to say that the item is still for sale, but what does it exactly stands for?

It doesn't stand for anything - it just means 'up', ie bumping the thread back up to the top of the pile. The Z is just a sad attempt to make it sound ~kool~, or l33t, or whatever the hell the word du jour is.

HS - upz is indeed English in some ba5tardised Singaporean style. Haven't you noticed Singaporeans in particular like to stick that z at the end of certain words? 'Haiz'. 'Sighz'. 'Sianz'. 'I am illiteratez'.

Okay, now is there any way to translate all this l33t-speak back into English? I'm lost! wh@+ +3|-| FUC|< i5 3verY0|\|e $4yIN9?

Being a "near-senior" citizen I have always been baffled by this "upz" thing, thanks for enlightening me. However, would it be better to stick to common simple English so that your message get communicated easily?

Its got nothing to do with Singlish. The geekz and kiddiez sbeen doing it for more than a decade. We just improvise it here.
