Someone asking me which way to Brisbane

i know a place where there are 3 humps within 10 meters

from my carpark entrance to my block there's 8 humps...and its not very far at all..at most abt 200m given all the twist and turns..

go in straight two humps, turn right one hump, turn left one hump, turn left one hump, turn right one hump go straight last hump.

seriously sucks!

When I was an avid cyclist, I hated those motorists who drove so threateningly close to my bike. Now, when I am learning how to drive, those cyclists who think they own the road, IRKS me...They really trust too much in my L plate skills!:bsmilie: Ironically, when I cycled, I kinda had the faith that those motorists behind me were not blind...

I hate the following drivers:
1. dun signal while turning or changing lane.
2. travel same speed beside me while I need to change lane.
3. like to horn other drivers for no reason
4. like to tailgate.

1. agree
2. i always do that to non signaling cars and taxis
3. i always horn + high beam other drivers who cannot keep to their lanes
4, i always tap on brakes when someone tailgate me at lanes other than lane 1

People who pretend to be asleep on the MRT/Bus and don't want to give up their seats to pregnant women / elderly people / others who need it more than they do.

I hate auntie who pretends to fall asleep and slides towards me on the same seat on MRT and buses. :bsmilie:

singapore drivers are not skillful and considerate in driving.

1. compared to malaysia, thailand, indonedia, philippines, singapore's drivers using phones while driving is very little

2. same thing overseas, but they are more gracious in giving ways

3. same as overseas, signal only when needed

4. i had worst experiences in other countries

5. worst overseas

but drivers overseas are more skillful and more considerate on the roads

I've been driving for over twenty years, in many different countries all over the world and I think that the standard of driving in Singapore is definitely the worst I have experienced.

1. Too many people drive whilst talking on the phone, smsing etc... it has been proven that even if you are using a hands-free device you are still as dangerous as a drunk driver.

2. Lack of anticipation. People rarely anticipate situations and are only reacting to what is directly in front of them. For example, when you see a lane closed sign, you will still see a lot of drivers keeping to that lane until the last minute, when they then have to push in to the next lane.

3. Signalling. Bad bad bad. People either indicate too early or don't indicate at all. I find that a lot of drivers are also very determined not to give way to someone who has indicated.

4. Taxis. I think the fact that they are driving all day is no excuse to drive badly. In fact, they should be the best drivers in the country given their time on the road but they are not that's for sure. Most of the accidents that I see on the roads involve a taxi, at least 90% I would say. Mirrors and indicators?? Not sure they actually need them in the taxi, I don't think they are used.

5. People generally drive too close, ignoring the two-second rule. I have been the victim of being hit from behind due to carelessness from the driver behind (and a taxi stopping suddenly to pick-up a passenger).

Haha in some places I had to actually keep a high alert for cars. No traffic lights, no crossings. Dodging cars.

Every time when I'm the first in line at the traffic junction, a motorbike comes along to my front and that makes me second in command automatically but very unwillingly.....that's eeeritating.

my classmate and i have worked out a system.... when she drives... she watches the road... i flip the bird to really horrid drivers... bitchy but it does surprise careless drivers... ;P

just let those motorcycles pass, not point being the first to rush out when the lights turn green

as a cyclist, i think is better to give way to the cars rather than be knock down by them, thats why i cycle on the road side pavements.
but when you're driving, i hate to admit it is that once i saw my friend give way to other cars when exiting the carpark and end up other cars going straight doesnt slow down in front of a yellow box and give way to him.
it might be good to be more aggressive when it comes to getting out from a carpark.

how do i say i hate cyclists on pathment without malice towards u??

One of the things that irks me is ppl driving on lane #1 of expressway like they were taking a Sunday morning stroll. This lane is meant for overtaking and for driver who wanted to leave the rest behind. By keeping up to 90km/h does not mean it's OK to be on the #1 lane. I have encountered many taxi using lane #1 as "taxi lane" as the buses have their bus lane. Make way please.
