should we be posting names(for transparency)
in B&S section of bidders who had tried to bid our items on sale?

i had many bad experiences with potential buyers here..
who bidded the things but sms me before deal tat they changed their minds..

i didnt list their names to protect their privacy but in the end.. becos no names is mentioned.. they can just 'get away' from it..

so wat do u guys think?

:)

Why not just list the bad hats rather than implement a protocol to require ALL bidders to be listed?

there is nothing wrong with changing mind before confirming to a deal. some of them just bid to hold on to as many possible temporary offers as possible while checing out other offers. just because u didnt get to deal doesnt mean the other party is a bad hat. u never know what he is really going through. just get used to it and check out the next highest bid.

maybe im not clear enough..
wat if the bidder already confirmed the deal and i already reserved for him?

and i never mentioned anything abt bad hat and stuff

Exactly! So list down their names and the problem is solved.

By requiring EVERY bidder to list down their names doesn't solve the problem you presented at all now doesn't it?

You apparently have an issue with people who promised to buy and backed out. Buy, you feel you should still help to protect their privacy. Well, it's that a contradiction. You cannot have it both ways. Either you feel irritated enough, expose them, or just take it like a man.

As an add-on, I'm always wondering why there are many complaints and yet the complainant always refuses to divulge the identity of the perpetrator.

do give them and remind them the time limit before reject the bids.
if they have failed to do so, then don't deal with them the next time.
let it go easy. :)

i got some bad exp the opposite way ...

how about some seller who goes totally MIA after some PM... what's wrong with deciding to sell/give the item to a friend, or to keep the item instead of selling it ... a small courtesy to spend 1 min to inform the buyer is too much or what? and it's not me not reminding ... have sent a lot of PM to the seller, but they're all gone up the air. Well, he doesn't give a contact number so ... tried to email (with the email from his profile) then the email bounced back... The seller does have more than 1000 posts in the forum so i guess he should be more familar with the b/s forum here ...

Dun really understand some ppl.

Anyway, i guess this happens quite commonly in this kinda online/forum b/s ....

no contact no them don't deal lo... simple. :)

ya next time willl include: PM without contact number will not be reply
But then still, ... a lot of ppl (sincere buyer/seller) prefer to PM before confirming the deal and then give out contact number ...

Anyway, it'll be down to the point that: if u r selling good and cheap stuff, ppl will just come to ya with whatever way they can
Harder for buyer bcause if there's someone having the item u want with the reasonable price, they will just post a WTS in the forum and it will be gone very fast ... they dun have to contact the buyer of the WTB thread in the 1st place ....:dunno: :dunno:
