What brand of tripod do you use?

this is my set up

sony A200 ,
18-250mm

looking for a decent tripod.

budget is around max 160 +/-

any recommendation?

the default freebie tripod can already unless you are going the great outdoors. Your setup not considered heavy.

if you still want to buy..for reference can compare the Slik u212 with whatever models you fancy to see their pricetag is worth or not.

Still using my West German Cullmann 2503 25 years after buying it.It has more uses than some of the more expensive modern tripods.

Anyone tried the "Fancier" tripod? Saw it selling at the Mass Sales section.... Is it stable & light? :think:

No one uses this brand of tripod? :dunno:

Sure got people use one but i am guessing they are not on clubsnap or those who are dont want to make it known they are using.

I am using the U212 and more then often see other tripod users have an "inadequate" look in their faces when they look at mine.

To me nothing wrong using a smaller tripod or larger tripod as long does the job. Its just that strong and cheap usually means big and heavy.
