U prefer Fixed P&S? I am actually looking at P&S, I also wonder if I go for for fixed or zoom...
Fixed will be either DP2 or GRD 2
Zoom will be either G10 or LX3
what shd I do?

I use the G10 as a light meter, so not much of shooting comments there 
The Dp2 and GRD 2 would probably fly out of the window the first few round , trying to get something in focus, but once you have them in motion, they work wonders.
I Suggest you check out Flickr and Pbase for DP2 and GRD 2 outputs!

finally found the slide projector in the store room, and full of dust. managed to turn it on, but the slider wired remote is no where to be found. Any idea where to service it? it's an old model, SIMDA.

Pros like you can sewa and get full support from the supplier ! no need to buy
nvr be a pro mate.. still gotta long way to go.
yup.. did a check, and rental rate is quite affordable, but still don't justify the cost and camera, when shooting events most of the times or pre-wed. Else the cost price will shoot up.
It's like driving an F1 car in CBD area during peak hours.:bsmilie:
