Sigh... as much as the technical knowledge is there, please note that our cams(fzs) can only control that much in regards to bokeh.

So far I've been using the fz20, the way I get a bokeh is by zooming in about 4-5x, aperture at 2.8. The background should be significantly far away from the subject. (All this is for portrait shots)

As for closer up shots (like ricky's), usually no problem. Just set to 2.8 and you should be alright.
