I snap at lots of cars because of my profession - upholstery worker. I'm fortunate to work at a premier shop so I get to be around some very nice machines. The one above is a 67 Ford Mustang...the original pony car. This one here is another American classic. 1934 Ford 3 window coupe modified. 500 cubic inch Cadillac engine note the interesting manner in which the hood is secured. Also note the backwards opening doors...suicide doors. Those are nice details on this particular car. We call this sort of ride a "hot rod".
This one Df with the cult classic 105/2.5 mine is a K version from the first batch. Non Ai. Probably my favorite portrait lens. Probably shouldn't be shooting cars with it but it is what I had that day. Soon I think I will reshoot the car with a more suitable focal length.
This one a reaction from the hip shot with 100 Series E. I walked out my front door the other day to do a test shot. Off to the side I spot a deer. It bolted. I spun the lens towards infinity side, gave a very short chase, and punched the button before she disappeared. You get a few seconds and that is it...they are gone like the wind.
