Nikkor 45mm f2.8 Ai-P Pancake lens. Really sharp and distortion free, suitable for architecture photography, but might be slightly tight in some situations.

Not sure if I posted this before, but here's a shot comparing the size of the 45mm to my 20mm f4 and a body+lens cap combo:

Thanks for looking. :)

Nice silver lens. What is it?

That's the Nikon 45mm f2.8 Ai-P. It came out together with the FM3a. Nice sweet lens that comes with a pretty lens hood too. It's a bit expensive but pretty worth the money. At least to me :bsmilie:

Oh i see. I have the 50 mm F1.8. Yes, i like it too. Small and contrasty. haha

Just a recent photo taken by my old lens, Nikkor Micro 105mm f2.8. Did not really utilise it until I get my DSLR.

Anyone here have the ais 55mm f/2.8 micro? can share your experience with me?
I am new to old lens like these ai and ais and i dun have any yet... Hows the lens sharpness and colors on modern high resolving powers of FF like D800 or D600? I read tat this is a sharp lens and, for such an old lens, im wondering how it performs on 20MP++ cameras
do u guys feel limited by not being able to adjust the aperture in 1/3 stops? (Like f3.5, f6.3 etc..)
