No, most of it was handheld. I tried a monopod for a few shots, but not much space to move around so gave up. The camera is a Canon XH-A1 and I find the stabiliser very nice, even when zoomed in quite far.

Yes it is 16:9. Are you seeing it as 4:3?

nope it is 16 9. i like 169 vids. looks better.

Same here, I always shoot HDV with the A1, so everything is 16:9. The only way to shoot 4:3 is to use DV mode which is SD, and I haven't even tried that since the day I got the cam.

Thanks. Well, sort of composed. It's based on sample loops that I put together in Acid, plus I usually add some midi parts that I input from a keyboard. It's quite fast to create something unique using Acid.
