I have since highlighted this thread and its contents to his Aftercare Officer. It was only after I spoke with SianZrong again on the matter, that I was told that RF Team Manager had liaised with him again. And only after all that orgy, did I get a SMS that I reproduce herewith -
"For your info, your SB28 is at Mike's shop."

Perhaps he read the post by Sahdowmoses and got some idea from there. Whatever it is, I am writing off this Nick/Derelictz/Fizban completely, as a leopard who stays a leopard, regardless of the wool he tries to wear. Good luck to whoever wishes to take him in.




To fellow photographers who may encounter him for a PA/apprentice/etc -

I have the full set of correspondences and a reference of him. Should you wish a third party opinion, do PM me for it, I'll email the stuff over. But I will definitely recommend against this individual.

Am posting this to caution fellow CSers.

Should you come across anyone selling a Nikon SB28DX speedlight, do be very careful.

Check if it carries the no.2074943, and has no warranty card. It is considered stolen.​

"Borrowed" in April 2006 on the pretext of using it with his Panasonic DC to shoot WCG teams under Ragefaction.Net, he has since disappeared, along with changing/blocking his MSN, email and handphone numbers (9853-9864 / 9665-5464).

Repeated emails and reminders have netted no returns, despite a mutual acquaintence having seen him commuting to town area with his buddies. He has been claiming "no time", "too busy", and quoting school as an excuse from avoiding the return of the item, up to end of June 2006.

He is aged 22-years, stays in the Woodlands area, is known as Fizban on RageFaction and is supposedly a student in Ngee Ann Polytechnic (and a member of their photo club). He has also joined several outings including a Pinkie model shoot and an AG Outing. Lastly, he does not have an unbleamished record.

I have decided not to pursue police action against him on the grounds that he is a student. However, I still strongly caution fellow Clubsnappers to be very careful, should you insist on dealing with him.

I'll lodge a police report if this happens to me no matter what status that person it ...

I hopes you got your stuff back. This person is irresponsible. I also learnt a lesson. I lend my lenses to my friends. She keep changing her no. until today I did not get my lenses back.

There're numerous irresponsible spineless people these days out there - even with businesses. They know nothing about character and integrity. So it is never too careful to be cautious.
