It's definitly possible to remove the mount. But putting it back is going to be tough by a layman. Some of the lenses adapter is fixed on to the helicord, which is very difficult to put it back once it is out (like the 40mm/f1.4). Others are just like a mount, which is easily taken out. I would suggest to leave it to the technician to do handle the encoding.

BTW, on my CV 35mm Pancake II, is there a way (reversible) to make it more difficult to turn the aperture ring ? I often nudge it out of position without noticing, and there goes the shot, gone with the wind ...

Yes, it block the finder just a little... for the coolness.. it's worth it

Can't confirm. No news from them. But looking at the number of lenses that they announced that to be discountinued, there should be some replacement.

Let's hope something come out to excite the market!

No new release yet... The silver 35/f1.2 is the last new release. Really in limited number. Only 200 are made. Will be available in August.

is this a worldwide production limit or the maximum number of lenses you will bring into spore?
