Nice,
(IMHO) may be you need to adjust the level abit to bringup the contrast and also adjust the hue abit to get blue sky....
Btw what filter you use for the conversion?

Thanks for your comment and suggestion. Ya, I agree with you on bring out the constrast and colors.

It is the ELP filter.

BTW, do you know which is the most suitable Nikon lenses to be used on the D70S? I am thinking of using a fix lenses permanantly on the body. :)

For me, Nikon Kit lens, 18-70 is the best so far.

Cheers.

I like #4. Looks like a shot taken out of a movie with cherry blossoms falling to the soft snow.. Great shots man! ;)

CS, all these shots were taken with 18-55 mm kit lenses, any idea if it compares with 18- 70 mm?

Thanks.

Hi TS, i think u need a more sunny day for better results. Glommy days will produce grey, low contrast pics. Most of the time need to dial in +exposure in the cam to get a decent auto exposure. As long as no highlight clipping (blinking highlight on LCD, u can push the exposure higher. Over exposed area will be blue in the CCD before channel swap

After channel swap, will be yellow. U can use hue/saturation to remove the yellow. Slide the saturation under 'yellow' to minimum, then increase yellow slider "lightness" more to turn from grey to white.

That is if u r using Hoya R72. Certain lens need to compensate for focusing too. What looks sharp in your viewfinder may not be sharp in the photos. Check your LCD after each shot, especially the corners, and play around the manual focus override ring.

lohtecksiong, silvergetz and Ballan, maybe we should shoot together on of these days then have a cup of coffee and share some IR techniques. :)

Silvergetz, your observation is abolutely correct, some of my pics were taken in a cloudy daylight.
Thanks for sharing your experience.

Good idea David, let me know if you already arrange the timing for this...

Pulau Ubin is long overdue for a visit, or Kusu island.
