i'm actually doing alot besides my working life.

putting hard earned monies towards a purpose and worthy cause?
other than charities, what's considered the above?i have put alot into unit trusts and fixed depo to save up in case i get the chopper one day.

time wise, i definitely dont have.i've been neglecting my other hobbies so much...

I have an idea (minor one) about how we can make some cash and have some fun.. I've seen some websites selling photos for use is advertisement brochures etc, but in order to do that, a substantial quantity of spectacular photographs are needed.

If we can gather all our nice ones and have a voting engine in which other member choose the good ones to showcase for sale, we might build enough momentum to become a well-known portal for potential bidders. We could get clubsnap to host us for a small fee *HINT*

just an idea, feel free to critique or add your views

IMO: local girls usually say "I don't need you to send me flowers.. I want flowers EVERY SINGLE DAY!" and say "You don't need to drive You don't drive? you LOSER!" and some say "Let's eat at the hawker AGAIN? I can eat at the cheap filthy place and pay myself but you're supposed to pay for the expensive meals whenever we go out" others say "We don't need to meet everydayEither because I have company of my other friends else I want you to meet me every other day. Well, it shouldn't be easy.. else it'll become like bubble tea!!! Anyway, IMHO, one of the key things that is needed is a substantial database of good photos, hence, it's not easy to start as an individual.

But with a proper engine, who knows? If there's anyone out there keen to explore further, perhaps we could meet up for coffee and maybe take a few portraits of Jeanie for our first photos to put for sale.....

I doubt it will compete as a regular everyday stock site, however as a specialist in quality, non stock orientated images, rather like artwork, who knows? :dunno:

I guess the secret to true happiness is about not having to worry about earning, saving or spending money, or having anything to do with money at all. Inevitably money rules our lives and makes us worry and be stressed over it...imagine a life with simple pleasures and no such thing as money to worry over...impossible in our kind of world I guess. :sweatsm:

i was pretty bored with life too. but after a, let's just say a "life mextreme makeover", heck, it's not so bad after all.

i'm just happy to be around each day, spend time with my family, even if it's just doing nothing. watching my little girl do her stuff. helping my wife with the house chores. sure i'd rather be out shooting, but hey, i just make the most of what's given to me.

life is never boring.

why do you think that the usual means is only weddings :dunno: there are many other avenues.. everything that's printed or published be it on web or in prints needs to be shot. Wedding market is only a small representation of the entire market. Artworks and products are so much better paying than weddings.. If you're shooting weddings just for the money.. then I...erm...got nothing to say....

thinking again...:think: why do you want to make money out of your hobby? It'll kill your interest for it very fast you know
