i just purchased the ACMAXX 3.0" Thick Film LCD SCREEN ARMOR from ebay - wonder if its good

Where did you get the strap from and how much? Very retro.

I bought it from Andy's Camera Strap. Some forumers feel that Andy merely copied Gordy's Camera Strap. This is like saying Samsung copied Apple by releasing a touchscreen phone with a rectangular shape. In any case, he has made his own design improvements, such as the wide strap - which is what I bought. Gordy only offers a neck pad, which IMHO is overkill for m4/3 cameras.

Where did u got those 2 black colored rubbers just outside the rings ( on the camera hole for strap attachment there ?

Same, from Andy's Camera Strap. I bought them along with the strap. Discreet and protects the camera body from the metal rings.

No doubt it will be good protection, but how much it reduces the sensitivity of the touch screen operations you will probably find out after you apply the screen protector on the screen...

yup. custom made. 2~3 weeks. ex shipping. perhaps a month?
do some review on this with your camera when it arrive.

Looks like there is very low chance for new 3rd party batteries that can be charged on OEM charger. Guess I have to give up waiting and get the original one.

I thought those 3rd party batteries come with their charger? I am using it and it works great. 1 orginal battery cost is equal to 3 3rd party battery.

Right. even when you go to Think Tank website, conversion rate will still be the same. got mine at $195 for the retro 7. for long term use, it's worth it.

if i'm not wrong, most dslr hv their diffuser for the built-in flash attached to the hotshoe, since the em5 small flash connects to the hotshoe, not sure if there's 1 for it.

Actually I prefer the original one, too. The extended one covers the corners.

Frankly speaking, i do have a hard time choosing which type i want to buy. haha. there are 3 types. Black nylon feel, Pine stone or blue Slate.
Pine stone and blue slate material have rugged feel, Black feel smooth.
in the end, i feel comfortable with the black. you can remove all the padding and use as normal bag.
