Ur lens filter size is 52mm, most camera shops sell these filters, cheap ones will cost 15? Harvey Norman, Challenger etc all have it.

just bought my OM-D with 12-50mm len. where can i buy the filer transparent len to mount onto my len to act as a protection?

You don't need to use a filter to protect your 12-50mm lens. This lens is designed to be weather-proof and to survive tough conditions. The front element is also multi-coated and meant to be exposed to the elements. Putting on a UV filter for protection is like putting a t-shirt over a bullet-proof vest.

It's weathered sealed but not scratch proof like gorilla glass.

I rather scratch my T-shirt and replace it cheaply.

The reasoning is akin to people still putting screen protector over their gorilla glass panel, despite knowing that it is scratch proof. You never know what can happen...

A hood will protect the front element. No point having a decent lens and put an inferior filter to destroy the output quality.

I doubt you will find it in local shops. Usually local shops here don't carry many original accessories.

It's probably a standard reply if their online shop is out of stock. They had it in stock for quite a while, I almost bought it coz I thought if I wait with the order till my OM-D arrives it will be sold out. lol

Just look through olympus online store. there isn't any Ep11 EyeCup available... for the len hood (12-50mm) what is the model?
As for the touch screen size, is it a 3" screen size? i need to buy the screen protector.

Gorilla glass is not scratch proof, its scratch resistant, meaning harder to scratch. I had mine scratched, though a hairline.

Yesternight, as I was playing with my new toy (FL600r), I find a pretty large area of the plastic hotshoe mount broken off (although it will not cause any problem with attaching and detaching the flash from your OMD) ... haiz...

Yeah, I admit I am not really that gentle with my product but I guess I am pretty spoilt by metal hotshoe mount from Canon and Yongnuo flash and I am expecting more for something that cost me around S$600. So to those who wanted to buy a flash, this might serve as a warning... be gentle with your new flash.

screen protector, not sure if there's 1 specially for om-d
but the 1 for pana LX3 covers most of the lcd screen.
the screen is bigger than a generic 3" screen protector.
i know cos i used a generic 3" SP before
