The photos do not show the "Cheongsam Theme" at all.
The cheongsam or qipao has to be shown in its entirety, that is from the top of the collar to the base of the hemline, otherwise it will not show the femininity and "sexiness" of the lady -and this is the most important aspect of a qipao.
Former US President Nixon after seeing Chinese ladies in qipao during his first state visit to China remarked that it is no wonder that China has such a huge population. :bsmilie::bigeyes:

Im not a pro but i think the composition and how the photo is being taken / processed should be the ones commented on and not the models.

Give you a damn pretty model, your photos can come out like **** if u know nuts about taking photos. Give you a not so pretty model the photos can still turn out well.
Anyway the models look fantastic.

Hi all, I usually dun commend but something prompted me to do so this time.
I believe that a good modelling shot is the collective effort of a group of people. In the case of most shoots in CS, it is mostly between the model and photographer (cos there is no MUA nor costume designers, etc...)
So it is quite sad that a post with harmless intentions became a battlefield. I was there for the shoot, and to be fair to all three models, they tried their best to accommodate to my group's requests for poses.
While the Cheongsams were not all fitted, my guess is that all those who signed up knew that the price we were paying will not cover areas like alteration of the outfits. Yup, not as sensual as body fitting cheongsams but the models did try to look elegant and demure, which is one idea possible for such a theme. And I thank them for making the shoot a more enjoyable one.
And we are here to learn to create better images. In this aspect, we are definitely off-track. TS posted these 3 shots most probably because he liked them. (They are not perfect, but I like them too) It would be good to make constructive criticism so that he will like his images better. I see few of that. It would be good if comments can be more specific.
We take photos to create beauty as well as memories. Good memories... let us all try to keep it that way.

IMHO (from my past dealing with them), models Valene and Mandy are among the most beautiful xmm here, and also among the more experience ones. They dress and behave very well and their physical attributes are way above average. As for Staryl, she has enough experiences here to make some fair comments.

I extend my apologies to Desmond, for creating a scene. But if given a choice I would still stand up for my own rights and those of other girls. I thank all who empathized with my point of view.
