would love to buy from AP sim lim, cos closer to my location.
i emailed AP, its been nearly 2 wks but still no news from them

The price difference between the reccomended shops are usually just $10-$20, so unless u really want e low quality accessories, then consider just buying from a shop that still have stock. Get your camera today n start shooting, instead of waiting for emails to arrive.

did you call AP to reserve your cam or you just directly go down and just buy?
u can get hotshoe cover from AP for $3
anything more than $3 don't buy, cos this is the standard price for the hot shoe cover.

its something like this, its to cover your hot shoe area to prevent any damages on it

i didn't know AP got so many shops.
or 01-38 is their main shop?
last friday i passed by sim lim, and noticed their 01-05 shop(facing taxi stand and rochor canal) is closed, and it was only 7 pm :dunno:
any bros and sis can clarify my doubts?

i just got my LX3 from AP SLS!
big thank you to those who've helped me!

the bundle i got includes :

-3rd party batt
-mini tripod
-card reader
-8 gb kingston card
-screen protector

and also, i got the black hard casing for $19.
so total, i payed $680 + $19 = $699

and i did call AP before going down, and requested for bryan.
during my purchase at AP with bryan, my gf and i were impressed by his excellent service!
he's very patient, and answered my questions, and even taught me how to use the cam.

bro, you have to search thorughly through the box, it's taped together with the packet of AV cables.

HAHA! yea me too. when i first got the package i thought they missed out the lens cap string too. but it was very discreetly pasted behind the cables. look carefully before you freaked out like me

I juz bought 3rd party (Fujiyama) 52mm (0.45x) wide angle converter and a 52 mm adapter tube ytd in HK. it fits well onto LX 3. didnt really like becoz of the weight that it adds on LX 3.
willing to sell the both together at $220.
