Went down IT this evening... Canon booth refuse to sell 450D body indivisually and only sell together with Kit lens... ;(;(;(

Skip the fair, go to a regular shop.

i went the pc show today...
but i got it at AP sim lim in the end
hahaha
1250 excluding gst
so total about 1337.50
and they are giving 4gb sandisk card
i heard the pc show one is not sandisk....

I suppose you would feel safer with it. A lot of us, however, survive on one year just fine. Purely your preference

yesterday just bought my 450D in pc fair, but i found the ppl giv me wrong user guide book (400D)
so izzit possible to change back 450D 1?

Just bring the guide book together with the receipt and ask for exchange... anyway you don't have any other alternative, right?

cos i just learning DSLR, so it may help me is learning step too if can get back the book

if u bought 450D ...the handbook or manual should be printed for 450D right? if u receive the 400D...u have every right to ask for the "correct" manual...no need to worry to ask ask...

actually yestesday abit angry
cos in the free giff thing got " 4GB card x 2 " but when i go collect the giff it become 4GB x1 and 2GB x2, then i ask the guy he said 4GB finish soon have save to next customer 1...:dunno: abit sien... nvm 2GB x2 also ok for me... just the little thing happen on yesterday.
if anyone going to buy 450D better ask the stock 1st...

Anyone know whether AP Funan & Simlim are under same management? The staff at Funan are so arrogant, finally i gave up and go to Simlim. Simlim branch are out of stock for the 450D body, end up got it from Orient Photo at level 6.

2x 2GB "worth" more. If you dont want, can consider selling off on the forums then go and buy a 4GB.

well its as if the warrenty is FOC considering the fact tht the value of the warrenty match the street price of the lens !!;p
all for a total of 3 and a halve yr....together if u register ur cam online at canon.com.sg

Thanks vgrmax... I only extended 2yrs warrant for my 450d body only. the extended warranty price for the 50mm f1.8 II lens is $45 which already half of the lens' price, not worth it at all...

Maybe the weather just to hot that day, temper of that staff is rather bad... the tune and the face he showed us just make us feel so uncomfortable... hyai...

Anyway.. happy got what i want at other shop as newbie now... :sweatsm:
