Don't think thats the meaning. That clause just confines the scope of the contract to only STB and the photographer. Even if third parties are mentioned, they have no ability to enforce their rights.

...I'm still having this problem, despite cutting down the little 'speech' and resizing the file down to 2.12 MB. Wonder what's the issue this time. Or perhaps Fate does not want me to join the competition?

then it's darn stupid of them, i also managed to after seeing your post, cut short ok liao but they could have included some form checking javascript or something to do word count in the first place....

hosea, i think they just select randomly to post in the gallery. Selection is not due yet.

I still found the same problem, my file size only 800K

To all who tried uploading but failed..

1) I suggest using only IE (not Firefox, Netscape or any other browsers)

2) Keep ur file size no more than 2.8MB

3) The caption shud not b more than 25 words (punctuations r excluded)

4) Upload only during e day

IIRC, the original deadline was 5 jan, then it was extended to 15 jan.

You're right man. It did mislead a lot of people. Some of my friends even argue with me that it was 28 Feb. I remembered the website also broadly state 28th Feb until they change it. :bsmilie:

yep, i did.

which is why i checked out the linked website and found out that the submission deadline was 5th jan. this was subsequently extended to 15th jan. i don't recall reading about a 28th feb deadline for photo submissions in the website.

Shortlisted entries of the contest submissions will be uploaded on the contest website for online voting by the public, from March 1 to 31, 2006. Voters will be entered into a lucky draw and 10 lucky voters will stand to win cash prizes as well as Sony digital cameras and Sony Ericsson mobile phones. Nominations that attract the most votes will go through a final round before the top three images of each category are selected by a panel of judges.

Results of this national photo contest will be announced at an exhibition of the winning entries at Suntec City in May 2006.
