planning to get a waterproof hp cos can take welfie
recommend me a hp take can take good pix/video underwater

another solution is to get a waterproof case for my current camera(s95)
but cant take welfie
even if i want to buy maybe no stock liao

any other solution?

Handphones are mostly splash proof or can only be in water for a short time... I won't recommend using any for underwater photo/video....

If photo/video is what you really need without the selfie... can may be go for a GoPro or those cheaper GoPro clone if quality isn't so important....

those hp in the market now cannot "soak" in water?

how about getting a water proof case for my camera?

gopro is another good option

cheers

Ive been using the Xperia Z series. The original Z, Z3 and now the Z5.

I think they are rated to be able to be immersed in water up to 1.5m deep and for up to 30min.

Please check the specifications before you commit to something, be it waterproof mobile phone or tough compact camera. :)

Saltwater is alot more corrosive... I strongly won't recommend it...

I'm still using the original Z. Recall when it first released, a lot of their marketing did indeed suggest underwater usage, but they have since changed tack, probably due to a slew of warranty claims.

* Many of the Xperia™ smartphones are waterproof and protected against dust, so don’t worry if you get caught in the rain or want to wash off dirt under a tap, but remember: all ports and attached covers should be firmly closed. You should not: put the device completely underwater; or expose it to seawater, salt water, chlorinated water or liquids such as drinks. Abuse and improper use of device will invalidate warranty. The device has Ingress Protection rating IP65/68. For more info see http://support.sonymobile.com/gb/dm/waterproof/. Note that some have a capless USB port to connect and charge. On these, the USB port needs to be completely dry before charging.

The IP rating of your device was achieved in laboratory conditions in standby mode, so you should not use the device underwater, such as taking pictures. Do not use the device to take photos while performing any type of activity underwater, including diving or snorkeling.
