some of us are probably thinking......if i have to pay modelling fees, than i am not obligated to give any images to the model. If the model wants the images, she'll have to pay for them (as this is now a busniess transaction).
U/W photography, unlike land, has the possibility of writing off the photo equipment should a flood occurs. Considering the amount of money i spent on my setup, i expect to be paid if anyone wants me to shoot for them since bringing cameras underwater is always a risk. It is entirely different from shooting bikini babes by the pool.
However, if u approach this from another angle, whereby from the onset, specify that the session is a trial and everyone splits costs (makeup, clothing, scuba tanks, etc for best effects), then i think most people here are more than willing to chip in. You get more shots and probability of something turning out well becomes higher.
It's the approach, i guess.
And there is quite a bit of logistics involved for such a shoot. It's not as easy as just turning up with the u/w photography gears. A proper pool is one big issue.
