Ultra wide angle

Sigh, if handshake is the priority, then by all means yes, the smaller aperture is less important. However, for such a small and light lens, holding it stable enough is not a big issue. However, "wide angle lenses dont really need big apatures (sic)" is not true as there are often scenarios which I have mentioned where the big aperture is a much appreciated, like freezing action or ambient light photography.

Hi Guys
Anyone know if I were to get the Sigma 10-20 from HK, will the warranty be valid in SG? And anyone know the HK price? Got a friend who's in HK for 1 day tomorrow.

I don't know about Sigma's warranty, can't help ya there, if you ask me Nikon's, probably I would be able to inform you.

maybe ur fren can ask if its local or int warranty. i assume int warranty means can service in sg too?

nikon's 12-24 is DX. Does that make it actually wider on digital slr compared to non DX sigma?

Same, non-DX after applying the crop factor will yield the same FOV as a DX glass.

Quite a challenge and fun to use the Sigma 10-20 mm since i got it 2 months ago (S$950 including b+w 77 mm filter) from TK Foto.
