rjc, but the best lens tt my sch hav is the push/pull 80-200 2.8. on sports day, the damned thing wont focus on any moving targets so most of the time i manual. end up my fren with fuji s9000 took better shots then me.

the kit lens 17mm hass [significant] distortion, print out the edges will seng eh 1

p.s in the pm coz of some [undisclosed] reason i use o lvl as excuse

Cool, dude! I was a Rafflesian too :) Of course, back in my time, we were still in the Mt Sinai area, haha ...

Well, the 80-200 autofocus too slow for sports lah, unless the college gets the AFS version ... Anyway, now u can use ur own 70-200 VR liao! I'm sure the next time u'll take much better pictures

Watcher, u better watch out hor ... ask u not to tempt me, u purposely do it some more :bsmilie:

But, seriously, nice pictures, man!

Ya, Watcher, you better watch out too. :bsmilie:

err ... the 80-200 focuses slower than a 70-300G ? ... cos i shot sports day for my JC ... with my own equiptment ... and a cheapo 70-300G (cheepo compared to your 80-200/70-200VR) and still managed to get quite a few decent action shots ...

Eh you can't get the exact look with a rectilinear wide lens actually ;)

Of course not... 17mm is 1 mm wider than 18mm after FLM. :bsmilie: The angle of view would be different, thus not exact look :bsmilie:
