Ubin with a self-mod IR Canon 350D, first try at IR

Ok so i had a 350D lying around that I hardly ever used. Browsed through here and saw some really cool shots.

Longed to try them. However, found it relatively expensive to delve into such a niche area of photography. Decided to rip apart my 350D. Thanks to the graciousness of the one of the resident guru who kindly offered me just the IR glass.

So after i did the mod, wanted to take it out. Fortunately, it was a bright and sunny day the next morning. Headed over to Ubin with some friends.

Thanks for encouragement. I requested for 720nm IR sensitive glass, which i guess is similar to Hoya's R72. I picked it after reading up on the various IR filters available and seeing results from them. Easier to control and manipulate the post processing to my liking i guess. :sweat:

Thanks for the encouragements. I actually used the computer without realizing that my colleague's account was logged in. Chanzhf's a friend and a colleague. Fullwater/jack back here hehe lol.
