This is not the first post that I have seen you complaining about your job, your "foreign talent" colleagues, whatever etc. If your job or your colleagues are "sooo.." irriatiating to you, why not you just quit and move on, instead of voicing out your complaints here? You probably have hundreds and one reasons for not leaving, just like everyone else. Chances are, you might just be not so "well-like" by your colleagues as well. Let's face it. Who's not frustrated in their jobs, now that wages are low, "foreign talents" are plentiful, and job security (even in civil serv) are history? .. It depends on how you look at it. To them, they might think that you are idling too. To you, they are idling. So it's all relative. You are not them, they are not you. You have your share of tasks, they do too. Everyone have a family to feed. So, let the guilty one cast the first stone.

Anyway, I come in peace, and hope you don't see my thread as a challenge to you. Cheers.

In case you didn't know, I already tendered and this week is my last week. It's not about pay and foreign talents if you know me personally.

If i'm not wrong, CPF Board could fine the company for late/non CPF contributions... so if u have not been getting your pay for 4 months already... hmm... better check with your company about your employment status..... poor u...

I remember reading off the web about the club @ One Fullerton, can't remember the club's name, been there once only.

They owed money for a few months then just ended the business like that. MOM has already advised that if the company owes you for $, don't let them owe for too many months.

My company tried to otang my pay for 4 months (ie owe me 4 months of pay) I threatened them with lawsuits and they coughed up the cash within one week. It works. You can try it out.

Similar like yours, they also owe CPF till they got fined, now they say Nov they will start to clear aug pay, phew, lucky I didn't listen to them, i thought they would clear 4 months of pay at one go. It's dangerous.

The teachers/lectures I know are very hardworking. Not only do they have to spend many hours on preparing lessons (which takes much more time than the lesson itself), they also have to serve on various committees/CCAs, do cumbersome administrative work, fight for students who have problems (often caused by unreasonable expectations/pressure from the parent's side), attend frequent seminars/functions of questionable value, and so on.

No, they go late for lunch, say 1pm so they come back at 2pm. To them that is. To me my lunch starts at 12.

Next time just tell them at 12 noon you mind switch off can't think of anything without food, ask them to come back after 1pm and walk off. You don't own them an answer.

My work place got one BUTCH who is thick skin, ask ppl to go on leave and she cover the OT. So $ face and no auto mode. Go on leave during holiday and expect the rest to cover for her. Thinking she only can holiday one.

Another guy, self claim mentor. Nearly 40, then got gf. Now yaya liao. Atitude problem, no manner. Really a jerk. Spoilt the market every time with his nonsense. Recently kenna from me, not happy liao. Not my fault, even my supervisor stand on my side. Coming wkend, he plan to go marathron n come back to work in the afternoon. All the **** clear in the morning by his partner n so, he come back just to sleep! This kind of ppl, no wonder so old then got gf. Selfish ppl!

See, only 8 ppl (including me) in that place n we got 1/4 already like that, think time to go n shoot one BIG email before going, haha! :bsmilie:

I used to have a colleague, he will always say 'No Problem' to boss. No matter how impossible the task will be. This is fine with me, but when he can't do it, which is usually the case, he will produce fabricated results. Always ask stupid questions during meeting. He usually 'disappeared' from his post.
Worse, always get promoted. :angry:

Ah that is what you call a yes man, They usually go far. Get promoted.

Does that really help? I heard that CPF board will actually take action once money is stop being top up into an employee's account. Mine no money going in to my account for 3 months liao, but hear no action. I feel that government will still want to help the company in need and not forcing them to close down lah....close one eye?:cry:

u should start looking elsewhere for a job. 4 months with no pay and 3 months with no CPF contributions does not sound good.

some time back, i was the partner of a SME, and when times was bad, my staff were not paid for 4 to 5 months and CPF was not paid for 8 months. i was even worse off, cos i was owed almost 9 months of salaries cos i gave my salaries to my staff for the initial months.

eventually i left the company and sued them. being the partner there, i knew whether to dig for the money, and at the end i took back 7 months back. CPF board took almost 2 years to recover the money for me. good thing that i left my directorship before the CPF monies were owed.

I work in a trading company. There is only 3 people. Me, My boss and a female colleague. As there is no conflict of interest, 3 of us work together pretty fine. Although my female colleague is a bit weird, but i can stand weirdos, so not too bad.

my boss scold even if i do well.. i earn at least usd20k for them every month, lose money only when he give me some stupid supplier with stupid vessel and stingy buyers so not my fault.

still, every now and then still pull me in and say havent cover enough of the market.. tiu he think he pay me like $10k is it?
