TV Reception not good - which party is responsible?

Hi all,

Was tuning my TV and found that:
UHF channels like: Channel U, ChannelNewsasia and Okto's reception is not good, whereas
VHF channels like: Channel 5 and Channel 8 signal is acceptable.

I just plug into the coaxial TV point from the wall. In the past years, CNA and Channel U signals was not consistent; sometime okay, sometime has faint white lines/blur edges. Ch 5 and Ch 8 seemed more stable.

Had enough about the reception, and would like to request for a thorough check on the antenna (whether on top of my HDB or through SCV point; whoever supplied the free-to-air channel signals.)

So who do I check with:
1) HDB because antenna is on top of their block?
2) Town Council because the things to be checked is outside my flat?
3) SCV because they may have provided the TV cabling to in the block?
or
4) MDA because I paid my radio and TV licences??

Hmmm... I am stumped and no where can I get a clear answer....

Any "expert" who has "got through" the pain kind enough to advise me?

Depends on whether you plugged it into the HDB box or the SCV box. ;p

Hi, try getting SCV to come to your place to measure your SCV box signal strength, they should be able to advise you. Charges should be around 80 bucks onwards. Call SCV and ask for the charges!
